My Baby Girl

Tonight we watched this video with our kids as we put our four-year-old daughter to bed for the last time.  Tomorrow morning we will have a five-year-old!!

MOA (Mall of America) Tee

Claire loves Build-A-Bear!  Since we will soon be moving away, we wanted Claire to have a memento of living in Minneapolis.  So today, she received a MOA tee from BABW.

Nancy Clancy

Claire loves the Nancy Clancy books – chapter books that continue with Fancy Nancy stories.  In these books, Nancy is a little older and solves mysteries.  They are so much fun to read!  Yesterday, Claire received a copy of the third book in the series.

Mailbox Money!

Claire LOVES getting mail!  On Monday, Claire got a gift in the mail from Granny and Grandpa!

On Monday, Claire got a Decorate-Your-Own Magnetic Dress-Up Doll.

Disney Princesses for my Princess

On Sunday Claire got a Disney Princess playset.

Claire was so excited on Saturday when she got a Barbie Princess Stylin’ Head!

More “Fancy Fancy”

Claire is learning to read.  On Friday Claire got a Fancy Nancy Phonics book.

Slumber Party!!

Claire’s Grandma Robin came to stay with us last Thursday.  She stayed until Monday night.  We had a fabulous time, and I took lots and lots of pictures.  I will do a separate post about her visit.  In preparation for Grandma’s visit, Claire got new Hello Kitty jammies.  (Grandma sleeps in Claire’s bed when she visits, and the two of them stay up giggling and talking and then wake up to giggle and talk in the morning.  New jammies were a definite must!)

Madeline

Claire has recently fallen in love with Madeline.  She has a couple of Madeline books, the Madeline movie and a Madeline doll.  But she’s never seen the cartoon.  Today we will remedy that.

True to form, my girl started reading the back of the DVD case right away!  (I love how some things always stay the same!)

Cinderella and Prince Charming

Today Claire got Cinderella and Prince Charming – all dressed up for the wedding!!

Forever After

Yesterday Claire got a Disney Princess book called “Forever After.”  It includes four Disney Princess wedding stories – Cinderella, Belle, Tiana and Rapunzel.  What a cute and beautiful book!

Princess Aurora

On Sunday Claire got Princess Aurora earrings.  How fabulous!!  (All the pictures of them are really fuzzy, but the earrings are beautiful.)
