Four Months

It's hard to believe that our baby girl is already four-months-old. The past four months have been absolutely amazing!

Her stats: She had her four-month checkup this week. She weighs 13 lbs 9 oz and is 25" long. (For those of you comparing her length with last month's, I clearly measured her wrong when I measured her myself last month. LOL) She is doing great! She's met all of her milestones and is ahead in several areas. She's beautiful and healthy!

Steve's sisters were here this past week to spend some time with our family. It was the first time that Nicole had met Claire. While they were here, we went square dancing; and we went to the Houston Museum of Natural Science. (Check out our blog for pics and video of the square dancing. Too funny!)

I'm a little behind on posting pictures. Here are a few that should have been posted earlier.
This is a pic of Claire wearing her "The Newest Member of the Colgan Air Family" t-shirt. Colgan sends these shirts to each of the new babies born to employees. The pictures of the babies wearing the shirts are published in the company newsletter. This is the picture we sent in of Claire.
While in Tulsa, Mom, Dad and I drove to Muskogee to have dinner at my favorite restaurant - Okie's. Here's a pic of Claire with her PopPop and MiMi at Okie's.
Claire taking a nap on Grandma's shoulder - so relaxing!
We love spending time with Aunt Shannon and Analise while in Tulsa. Say "cheese!"
Analise loves her Uncle Steve. Steve carried the girls while Shannon and I shopped.
Claire loves waking up to spend time with PopPop while Mommy gets ready for the day.
And evenings with MiMi are the best!

Claire is so fun these days. She laughs out loud a lot, which is accompanied by a squeal of delight when someone or something is particularly funny. She has also started reaching. I must admit that I love this! There's nothing better than having your beautiful daughter smile at you and then reach for you. Aahhh... melts my heart every time.

My beautiful girl is waking up from her nap. I must go play! Have a wonderful day!
